About Shepherd's Touch
Shepherd's Touch Mission Statement
To strengthen marriages and family units through counseling, preventative programs, and enrichment services. To build up the Body of Christ and bless our community, by enhancing the mental health and emotional well being of its members, partnering in this healing ministry with the local church. To equip others to be more effective counselors. To provide Biblically-based materials and training events on counseling, relationships, and mental health subjects. Who We Are
Dr. James E. Johnson, L.C.S.W., D.Min., Director, has 40 years counseling experience. He holds degrees in counseling and theology and is an ordained minister, as well as a licensed and certified counselor. He has authored two books: The Gift of a Sound Mind, and Freedom From Depression. 
Lynne A. Babbitt, Assistant Director, has her B.S. in Psychology and an M.A. in Professional Counseling. Lynne writes and presents seminars on various relational and mental health topics. 
Our counselors endeavor to be led by the Holy Spirit and guided by the Word of God. Along with Dr. Johnson and Lynne Babbitt, other male and female counselors from various denominations and specialties are available to meet the specific needs of our clientele. 
Wendy S. McCardell, Administrative Director, gives leadership to the office, development programs, and support services to clients and counselors at Shepherd’s Touch. Her wealth of experience, attention to detail, and heart for service and prayer all make her invaluable to the ministry. |
